How do I connect the remote control to my Backfire electric longboard?

Can I ride my Backfire electric longboard in the rain?

No, unfortunately, the electronics of the Backfire Skateboard are not compatible with any type of liquids. Water also damages the bearings.

Can I use my Backfire electric longboard as a normal skateboard?

Yes, you can! The Backfire Skateboard can roll just like a normal skateboard without having to use the engine. Bear in mind that the wheel friction is slightly higher compared to an engine-less longboard.

How old do I have to be in order to ride an electric skateboard?

We recommend that you wait until you are 14 years old at least before riding an electric skateboard.

Am I allowed to ride my electric skateboard in public?

In Switzerland electric skateboards are not allowed to be used in public. The laws may differ from country to country.

How often can I recharge my E-GO Cruiser before the battery capacity decreases?

Until now, none of our customers have reported a reduction of the battery capacity. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the E-GO Cruiser can start showing slight decrease of the battery capacity after approximately 500 complete recharges. Until now we have tested it with more than 1000 complete recharges. That is why you can ride your board for many years until you notice a minor reduction in battery capacity.
